i can only choose one.
and maybe in the long run, it'll be both.
i just have to think twice.
think, think, think.
think of the right thing to do.
and do it.
it doesn't hurt that way i guess?
instead, it just brings you a lot of "what if"s.
another thing.
it's very hard to think clearly when you are in that position.
all you see and feel is that moment.
does carpe diem apply to choosing the beneficial, because it is here, right now?
or choosing the right thing to do, foregoing the beneficial, and taking the high road?
how can something beneficial not be right? if it hurts someone in the long run, i guess.

what a day.
slept late.
watched dvds. ghost of girlfriend's past.
haha. nice romcom. it speaks about taking risks, caring more and not caring less. something like that.
for today, bumming was the plan.
sush then invited to hang at rockwell with vic.
went there. super hard yung rain, pero ok lang naman. :)
coffee bean, some arcade and then movie.
we watched the land of the lost. pretty funny movie. haha. benta.
so much for today. haha.
planning to go to cebu on wednesday with kuya.

nakakainis pa, isang beses na intersection ako namatayan.

then huling tirk sa may capernaum na.
nagtulak ako ng kotse. tinulak ko yung terrano.

i gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night.
i've been eating at yc consistently lately.
nung thursday, dahil libre ni krisha.
nung friday naman, dahil libre ni conrad. haha.
speaking of friday. it was a busy day.
i was supposed to be in la salle at 8 to meet my groupmates in envisoc. too bad, i didn't wake up early. so i went straight to boni high street para imeet sila. i rode a cab going there. sayang sa pera. eh 11 pala nagbubukas pala yung high street. badtrip. buti na lang bukas yung coffee shops. so i had breakfast sa figaro, thinking na marami pakong pera. it turns out what i ordered was the only money i had. shit. oh well.
we went to pateros. accommodating naman yung local government dun. nagpaphotocopy pa kami sa bayan. haha. then, we toured the municipality to look at the dirty rivers. we interviewed some people linving by the river banks. okay naman. haha.super bait ni mang mario. sikat pal lahat kilala siya. haha.
then, punta ako sa la salle after. jing and hi and her friends had lunch sa mildreds. nahiya ako kumain ng 4 cups of rice. hahaha. maybe next time. then, midterms tutorials na ng jpia. nagalit pako dun sa mga tao sa 228. ang angas ko pa eh, pinapakita ko pa yung reservation ticket. turns meron din sila. haha. anlabo talaga.
anyways, thanks to the department sa 302 na yung isang classroom. napaturo pako ng di oras. oh well. enjoy naman ako. :)
and after the tiring tutorials, nagpatulong pa yung block three.
kaya ngayon, balik na naman ako sa la salle. nagtutor ulit.. dan and i joined them for lunch. we didn't eat though. haha. i had lunch with cosca then interview with sir jun tayag, an insurance adjuster.
then, nakita ko yung mga frosh. ambilis ng mga pangyayari. we had a yacult session sa madison. haha.

realizations lately.
we're definitely going to canada next year. i'm the least complicated to go there. why? 'cause i just graduated. no work. unlike carlo, who still has to finish college. and unlike kuya, who needs to resign.
less complicated = more pressure.
i asked my mother, "ma, kayo po bahala."
i was expecting an answer like, "kung san ka masaya, suportahan taka."
to my demise, i was answered back with, "kung ako bahala, mag-aaral ka sa canada."
nice one. more accounting.
maybe i'll learn to love it.

like the bonsai, if you have strong roots, it doesn't matter how your branches are broken. it will still grow.
i guess that's us? no matter what trials that smashes us into pieces, we can endure it, as long as we have strong roots.
i guess that's the same with going to canada?
we have strong roots, in every way possible.

now that we're going to canada next year, i guess CARPE DIEM should the theme of my life for the remaining months. yup, in less than a year, i'm out of the philippines.
ergo, i've decided to give a simple gift to krisha for her birthday. last birthday na niya na makikita ko siya eh.
and with a little push from sush, we've decided to buy her a cake as gift from her jpia family.
the hard part was how to give it to her.
then jenny came up with the idea na ibigay yung cake after magdasal sa acofin. then, everyone will sing happy birthday
so andun ako sa med, waiting for krisha to come and leave. eh magtitime na, so umakyat muna ako sa classroom, only knowing na andun na pala si krisha. paglabas ko ng pinto, nagstart na sila magdasal.
so much for our plan.
so i hurried back to medrano, went to the chapel to get some match and light the candle. demit, i had a hard time removing the plastic. haha. after two or three matches, the match lit up. the candle was ready, and so was the cake. but just after a few steps, the wind blew the flame away.
nice.
so i was back there again, trying two or three matches.
i hurried to our classroom.
on the way, nawala yung apoy ulit.
sumuko nako. haha.
then, i knocked at the door. pagpasok, i just a blank seat in krisha's place.
then, i just saw people giggling.
hahaha.
the plan was wrecked.
then, pagpasok ni krisha, i suddenly shouted, 'HA-PPY Birthday to you'
some sang.
hahaha. oh well.
it was nice to have a backfired plan.
maybe after thirty years, we'll laugh about it.

it has been a very busy week for me. heck, i had no time for myself. i even cut one of my classes. but it's all good worth it.
thursday was a hell day. last day of arw, pasahan ng thesis, homework for acofin, prepare salusalo, and quiz of tax. not to mention i had to take a picture of the uturn slot along taft avenue.
and yet, we pulled it off. grabe.
partida, di ako natulog. i mean, 1 hour lang ako natulog, at sa kotse pa.
grabe.
it like everyday is turning out to be like that. everything is happening so fast, and a lot is happening.
nakakapagod.
at kahapon, another long day. sumabay lang ako kay mika. i was in la salle before 7 am. demit. i slept sa couch, then ate.
i had a 9 am meeting. ms. eve was there.
walang sikretong naitatago habambuhay.
badtrip. haha.
after meeting, emergency meeting of probe. then induction of officers. we talked to ms. eve naman kagad. everything went well naman. :) buti na lang. and then, officers meeting then pictorial.
just hours later, testimonial dinner na.
pamela was there. :) pangatlong testi dinner na namin to. and ngayon, ako na lang ang nakaformal. haha.
good times. :)
grabe. super crunch time this week. sana makapahinga naman kahit konti this week. i doubt it though. kelangan na bumawi sa acads, kahit konti. :)

last saturday.
morning: medical.
we went to makati to have our medical. mama has been pushing it for days. ok naman. blood test, urinalysis, etc. i'm good naman. no flu. haha. so i guess, sobrang tuloy na talaga yung canada. we have to be there before june 6 next year.
bummer.
gabi: loi's debut.
i was the only 106. haha. ok lang naman. good food. did enjoy naman. :)
midnight: inuman with zatti.
yeah, dumaan pako kina joel pauwe. around 1 am na yun. haha. go lang. masaya talaga kasama ang barkada. :D
sunday: sta. mesa. sarap matulog. haha. 3.30 na nakauwe eh. haha.
monday: gb with probe. meeting ng konte. then timezone at movie.
the movie was not good. haha. it made us laughed so hard. haha. oh did i forget to mention? it was a horror film.
oh well.
dinner at croc grille. and inuman at bed space.
sarap ng bum. :D
at ngayon.
birthday ni val. super treat sa gateway. from lunch to movie to timezone.

my last floating term had started. it's pretty neat.
for the first day, we closed la salle. jigs, i and lawr left la salle at 10 pm. deem.
sinangag express then starbucks pa. all for the open forum for good governance.
oh well. my classes are just good.
i cut tax na. haha. first vice dean's meeting kasi. haha. just wanted to attend it.
then, for the first thursday i remembered, inuman with probe. sobrang sabog si jigs. nagsuka pa sa burg. haha.
ako naman, forever driver. naghatip pa pauwe.
di pako lasing.
at ngayon, wala kaming pasok for 10 days. all because of the h1n1 flu. oh well. as of now, 3 na daw ang infected from la salle.

i didn't post anything about summer.
so i'll try to recollect all that has happened.
and i guess, it's suffice to say, it's epic.
the theme of my last summer was my henna: carpe diem.
hahaha.
my summer started with bora. here goes.
april 25-28. bora adventure.
it was my first time to go to bora. it was fun! :)
all terrain vehicle+parasailing+helmet diving+great food+inuman/party everynight.
haha. parang lang akong nasa taft. andaming la salista. best part? hmmm.
i got to meet a lot of new friends. :)
april 29-may 2. lead.
pagkagaling sa boracay, bataan naman. :) kuya rolly and i had a talk the evening before. basta the point was: magkakaalaman na mar.
wahaha. and nalaman ko naman. haha.
lead was fun. i met the probe people. i had an adventure. nakakaba din pa lang magtakas ng alak. wahaha.
inuman every night. then, late the next morning. some got wasted.
i just remembered: just let me be.
actually, my family and cousins went to puerto galera. ang uwe nila is may 3. so pag-uwe ko sa bahay, i just watch dvds, which i bought sa may overpass. yung overpass na tawiran papuntang multi. i bought 6. hmmm. those were. wait. dragonball, taken, monsters vs. alien, 2fast 2furious, watchmen and some other movie i can't remember now. out of the 6, 3 lang maayos. oh well. i learned my lesson. don't by pirated cds, at least in that stall. haha.
may 3. tambay sa bahay. tv. it's good to see my family again. diego also got a henna on his arm. animo in old english font. haha. how original. what else? di ko na maalala. i think we ate in luk foo again for dinner. haha.
it's norita's birthday toay!
may 4. i went to la salle. i think. inayos ko yung mga jpia stuffs. first draft of gosm deadline ata. hahaha. i can't recall. haha.
may 5. i saw jamie today. world chicken and 17 again was nice. haha. and let's not forget to give credit to the concorde cake, which paved the way for a very good ending of the day. :)
may 6. ocular ng el cacar! haha. i was driving the whole day. mark was late. haha. the terrano was put to the test. all terrains.
we came. we saw. we conquer. hahaha. i was with lee, tan, aira, shan, acosta and tan. haha. lee led the way. buti na lang. :)
el cacar was nice. but pico de loro was just amazing. sayang lang nalate kami ng konte. free food sana. hahaha. umikot pa kasi kami for no reason eh.
the gas of the terrano was the thrill of it. we underestimated the trip. sobrang siksikan at sobrang tarik pala nung daan. lalo na nung papuntang pico. haha. but we made it. what can i say. thanks to mark's singing at the back with my guitar, anlakas ng ulan pauwe. hahaha.
plus the fog! grabe. yung gitnang line na lang yung nakikita namin. good thing nanlibre si lee ng dinner sa pancake house. :)
from la salle to el cacar to pico de loro to tagaytay to lee's house to la salle again to multi.
driving skills, level up! hahaha.
may 7. went to isla lipana today. haha. ms. cathy treated the pl asia team for lunch, cos at long last, napasa na yung financial statements. haha. buti na lang nasama ako sa team na yun. good food! we ate at shanghai bistro. yum yum. i got wet though, sobrang lakas ng ulan at wala akong payong. :|
sush and i had dinner at chili's greenhills. haha. i was so late. haha. sorry naman sush. haha. had margarita. di namin masyado nasulit though. haha. and i met 2 of her up friends by surprise apparently. haha. then, bago umuwe dumaan muna akong gj to see jamie and bianca. libreng kape din yun. haha.
may 8. it's coleen's debut today! haha. carlo and i went on a journey to fairview. sobrang layo. aroung 2 hours yung biyahe. twas good to see chesca, tinay and agnes again. :) and pauleen was there too. got to chat. she still remembered me. haha. just chatted with some old friends.
nagsalita ako for 18 shots. sobrang biglaan. i was asked, pano mo nakilala si coleen?
i said: "yung ex...tra ordinary bestfriend ko kasi pinsan niya..."
wahaha. sorry pauleen, can't say that. :P
then sinundo namin si kuya sa mcdo, q. ave. pauwe. :)
may 9. birthday ni kirk today. pero walang handa. haha. first day ng frosh welcoming today. three little pigs ang theme ng jpia. ang mga baboy: ako, j.em, drex. haha. and mark and lor was there. we were just shouting at the frosh people. we didn't see vlad's sister though. after frosh welcoming, went to amphi i think. basta nagkwentuhan kaming konte ni kishia don, then ken and flip came. we went to mcdo. but then, i saw jamie sa second floor. haha. dumaan muna sa medrano. then, sumunod na lang kami ni krisha sa mcdo. :)
post lead gala with probe. :) we went to greenbelt. startreck was so good. :D long live and prosper. haha. dinner at somewhere. at humabol si jigs! with chocolates. haha. ayun, napainom pa tuloy kami sa croc grille. then, starbucks pa. good times with probe. :)
natakot lang kami ni krisha kasi baka di kami magising. haha. salubong the next day eh.
may 10. salubong! woohoo. di nako natulog. nakauwe nako from greenbelt around 12. naghatid pa sa annex 41, only to be there after 4 hours. hahaha. oh well. good naman. :) pero anlayo nung pinagparking ko. kelangan pa magtaxi ng five minutes.
we were just shouting there. walang'ya na kung walang'ya. haha. then, breakfast at mcdo.
after the long wait, board ops na. i was assigned in adamson. we had to deliver. and deliver we did. pero natapon yung drinks. oh well. got to see pam and cy again. doing good naman. :)
i remembered, nakita ko pa si tony, from dbs, while parking sa simbahan malapit sa adamson. weird coincidence. pinakilala pa niya sakin bf niya. haha.
i had to go home fast. hinahanap nako ng pamilya ko eh. sa linden suits kasi sila natulog. it's benny's birthday celebration. di nako humabol, para makasama sa salubong. *pero gusto ko rin talagang ihatid si krisha nun. haha.
pag-uwe ko, andun si ron. hahaha. at di na siya nagbago. it was good to see an old friend. :) tatawa ka na lang. :D
may 11. it was a monday. i remembered that during the mondays of my last summer, it was always a lazy monday. just bumming around. may that's why i can't recall that much.
may 12. woohoo. it's my birthday! i'm twenty. let me see. the first one who greeted was my brothers. i guess. pero parang si paulina. haha. di ko maalala. and the last ones were princess and carlo. they were waiting for 11.59 eh. haha.
i went to tagaytay with jamie for today. yeah, that's my gift for myself: a long drive. i dunno. gusto ko lang magdrive. haha. we ate at antonio's. good food. sarap ng sisig at bbq. dessert at starbucks. sarap nung 2 cakes. one was blueberry cheesecake, the other was some-mango-float-thing-a-bob. haha. i dunno its name. haha. then, we went ziplining after. woohoo.
then i realized that every year, during my birthday, i'll experience something new. for now, it's the zipline. wohoo.
after tagaytay, we wanted to watch a movie in glo. super hinabol namin. we used the skyway pa. but to our disappointment, we didn't made it. oh well. we just went timezoning. haha.
then dinner with my family at king crab. :)
when i got home, the weirdest happened. somebody just sent me a cake. somebody named bianca. somebody i don't know. weiiird.
may 13. enchanted kingdom with probe.
nagcommute lang kami papunta! haha.
anchors away! haha. fun fun. screaming while taking pictures. i, jigs, lawr, sasa, anika, kat.
haha. we played the laser tag. sasa and i won over jigs and lawr. then, sa rio grande rapids, i got soaking wet. demit. wala pa man din akong dalang damit. oh well. after that, we tried the srrx. nakakatakot naman in fairness. kat was pinching jigs. haha. all the girls were screaming. haha.
loved the view on top of the wheel of fortune.
may 14. probe meeting at starbucks. then, deer hunter after. first time experiences. haha.
dana and ruby plus two other guys were there. :)
may 15. may birthday bash. i, carlo and jason's birthday party at my house.
pero pumunta muna ako sa skul nung umaga, then u.m. muna ng konte. guitar hero with brack. :D
then, nagmadaling umuwe para makapagayos. i asked chesca for sounds. we had same sounds during coleen's debut. haha.
pinakaunang bisita sila chesca. :) and to think, late na sila nun. haha.
all of my close friends were there. from highschool to college. as in close. nakakatuwa nga eh. my block and jpia were represented by my closest friend among them all. krisha. :)

may 16. late na nagising. poker for breakfast. haha. nah, we had sardines for breakfast. ubos yung kaldero. hahaha. then, naghatid ng mga tao then tumambay kina paulina. we watched transformers and printed some jpia documents. haha. super funny.
i had hangover the whole day though. i guess that's what you get from bacardi, cuervo, the bar and tequila. crap.
may 17. BOARD OPS!
may 18. board ops na naman. badtrip lang di ko maencash yung cheque. haha.
pam, cy, pearle was there. kalbo si vlad. i didn't stay long. i had sa scrap meeting pa sa la salle. haha. probe was dominating! hahaha. after scrap, guitar hero na naman. with probe naman ngayon. :D
may 19. birthday ni belette! :D i can't recall that much for today. i guess i rested the whole day. haha. i dunno.
may 20. supposedly, dapat sa club manila east kami magsiswimming ng probe. but, it turns out, kina anika kami nagswimming. it was a good choice. haha.
nauna kami nila krisha, ken at flip dun. then, dumating na sila lawr at kat. haha.
saya magswim! we played a game wherein it was so intense. demit. tulakan, tapakan, at kung anu-ano pa.
then we played a secret game after.
let's just say that during the process i learned a few things. sad, disappointing things.
haha.
oh well. :D i won sa poker.
as usual, naghatid na naman ako pauwe. :)
may 21. now, dapat magbibiking kami ni jamie sa ccp. hindi na naman natuloy. haha. nagwalking na lang kami. haha. then, we went home para magpahinga. and then, umalis na kami.
i can't recall that much. pumunta ata ako sa skul. haha. i dunno.
may 22-23. teambuilding of jpia. it was nice. galing ni tan. di ko lang magets yung isang bagay. oh well. pabayaan na lang natin. bakit kaya siya sumama? baka nga nakaramdam si krisha na kakausapin ko siya. haha.sabi ni cy, yu
although, for me it didn't turn out so well. nagaway kami ni krisha towards the end. she has a point though. dapat mageexplain ako, but then, i thought wag na lang.
what's the point. i'm done explaining myself. just move forward and learn. i can't change the past nor what i've done. i can just hope againgst hope that things will be better, that this too shall pass, and that all shall be well. i should just have faith that all of these adversities are part of a grander scheme of things, one that i can't fathom at all. i will just continue and love what i'm doing.

may 23. may lakad yung block sa tagaytay, pero di nako sumama. i just reasoned out na wala nakong pera. but the truth of the matter was that i needed a breather. masyadong magulo. too weird for me.
oh well. i wen to chesca's birthday. but i didn't stay too long. haha. then, salubong sa sta. mesa for carlo's birthday! woohoo. i was so tired na na dapat magbibihis lang ako, pero nakita ko yung kama at sobrang lamig ng kwarto. dapat hihiga lang ako. next thing i know, umaga na pala. haha.
at least andun ako before mag 12! hahaha.
may 24. birthday ni carlo. birthday ni ate cis.
LUK FOO! hahaha.
that's my summer. last summer. it was fun.
and yet, parang may kulang. hmmm.
